Hi! I’m Jaski, founder of VineDrop.

After spending over 15 years exploring Northern California’s wineries, I started to notice something - the tasting lineups were starting to feel a little too familiar… Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir… But with more than 300 grape varietals in the world, I knew there was so much more to discover.

I began visiting a local wine shop and picking up bottles from around the globe - an Aglianico from Italy, a Bobal from Spain. While I learned a lot about different wines and regions, something was still missing. I had no real connection to the bottle. Where were the grapes grown? What’s the vineyard like? Who’s behind the wine?

That curiosity led to VineDrop - a way to connect curious wine lovers with the boutique California wineries crafting lesser-known varietals. You won’t find these bottles at the grocery store, but what you will find is small, family-owned producers crafting incredible wines you rarely see beyond the vineyard.
